Upper Mead

Upper Mead provides care and accommodation, including nursing care, for up to 42 people. At the time of inspection, 34 people were living at the home, including older persons and those living with dementia. The service supports a wide range of care needs.

People were happy with the care they received and felt relaxed with staff, describing them as kind and supportive. They felt safe and said there were enough staff to care for them. Inspectors observed friendly relationships between residents and staff members. People enjoyed the food provided, and the home acted on their feedback regarding how the service was run. The environment was pleasant and designed to help people move around and find their way easily.
