Heron House Residential Home

Abbeyfield (Somerset) Society provides residential care and accommodation to up to 44 people, with a particular focus on supporting older people, including those living with dementia. The home is organized across three main areas: the main building features 19 en-suite rooms and 8 self-contained apartments, while a dedicated 13-bed unit called Quantock caters specifically to residents with dementia. At the time of inspection, 38 people were residing at the home.

The provider and registered manager demonstrated genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to residents. The home creates an environment where people receive personalized support tailored to their individual needs.
