Rivers

Rivers is a residential care home providing personal care to up to 17 younger adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and sensory impairments, delivered across two houses, Rivers and Cabin. The CQC found the service had improved since its last inspection and was no longer in breach of regulations relating to notifications and governance, though quality monitoring systems still needed further development.

Inspectors found staff kind and caring, with people and relatives generally happy and feeling safe. Some relatives raised concerns about staffing levels and inconsistent communication, and one person said they had not received their agreed one-to-one hours, but safeguarding procedures were being followed appropriately.
