Charnwood Oaks Nursing Home

Charnwood Oaks Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to 81 older people aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 84 residents. The service is organised across four separate units, each with adapted facilities to meet residents' needs.

However, inspectors found that people were not consistently kept safe. Risk assessments needed to promote safe care and minimise infection risks were not consistently in place, leaving staff without the necessary information to provide safe support. Managers did not maintain robust oversight to ensure all areas of safe care and infection prevention and control were properly monitored.
