Matthews Neurorehab Unit accommodates up to 38 people requiring nursing and personal care, with 27 residents at the time of inspection. The service operates across two floors with ensuite bedrooms and includes lounges, dining rooms, and accessible garden areas.

People and relatives consistently praised the quality of care received. One resident said, "I get really good care and the staff do things the way I want them done." A family member added, "I can't fault the staff, they're so helpful. I feel reassured my family member is safe and well-looked after."

However, inspectors identified areas for improvement in care records, which contained unclear and contradictory information that needed addressing.
