Cedar Court Care Home

Cedar Court is a nursing home caring for up to 75 older people, including those with physical disabilities and dementia. At the time of inspection, 60 residents were living there in a large adapted building.

Staff and management placed people and their families at the centre of care delivery. Residents were treated as individuals with their own life experiences considered in care planning. Staff provided kind and compassionate care, treating people with dignity and respect. The home involved people and relatives in decision-making about their care.

Staff worked to understand residents' personal histories and backgrounds, using this knowledge to inform the way they provided support.
