The Old Rectory

The Old Rectory provides personal and nursing care to 35 people aged 65 and over in one adapted building with three lounge areas, two dining areas, and a large garden. Bedrooms are distributed across the ground floor, first floor, and an extended wing. Residents report feeling relaxed and comfortable, with one relative commenting, "It's so nice because we know that our Dad is safe and being well looked after." Staff interactions with residents are kind and supportive, and there are sufficient staff members to meet people's needs promptly while maintaining safety.

The environment is safe with appropriate equipment available, including hoists and walking frames. Medicines are managed safely and comprehensive policies protect residents from harm. Risk assessments are thorough, with measures in place to keep people safe whilst supporting independence and encouraging appropriate risk-taking. Staff appear relaxed and happy in their work, contributing to a positive atmosphere throughout the home.
