Belvedere House

Belvedere House cares for up to 68 people, including those living with dementia. The home features a large, open, spacious nautically-themed environment that focuses on residents' lives at sea. Staff are described as caring and attentive, with one relative praising "the level of care is very thorough and highly professional" and noting the "warm welcome" their mother received. Care plans are person-centred, recording individual needs, choices and preferences, and detailed care records enable staff to provide safe support.

The service offers varied menus allowing residents to choose what they eat. Complaints and concerns are recorded and used to drive improvements. End of life care is thoughtfully considered to ensure residents' comfort. However, staff and management had not ensured full compliance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005, meaning some residents' rights were not always adequately protected.
