About Ashton Manor Nursing Home

Ashton Manor Nursing Home is a nursing care home in Surrey, providing care for people with health conditions or dementia. The findings below set out the CQC's most recent assessment of the service.

Ashton Manor Nursing Home, in Surrey, provides accommodation with personal and nursing care for people with health conditions or dementia, including those living with dementia. It is rated Requires Improvement overall. The CQC found poor maintenance and cleanliness that increased infection risk, inconsistent staff deployment at busy times such as lunch, and a lack of individual choice in daily care.

Management audits had failed to pick up these issues, and some care plans and equipment settings needed correction.

Despite this, inspectors found people were happy living there and felt safe, well cared for, and listened to. Staff were described as kind, trained to recognise abuse, and supportive of people's health needs. The registered manager was open to feedback and committed to making improvements.
