Yaxley House provides personal care for up to 34 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 30 residents were living there. Risks to residents had been assessed before admission, and staff demonstrated understanding of how to keep people safe.

The service employed sufficient staff to meet residents' needs and followed robust recruitment procedures. Medicines were managed safely by trained staff, and the premises were clean and well maintained. The registered manager held regular meetings with managers and senior staff to review service improvements and development.

Staff received training tailored to meet residents' needs.
