The Limes Retirement Home

The Limes Retirement Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 26 older people, including those living with dementia, across a main building and cottages within the grounds. Inspectors previously found breaches relating to person centred care, consent, safe care and staff training, but this assessment found the provider had resolved these issues, with the rating improving from requires improvement to good.

Governance and audits had strengthened, care plans and risk assessments were up to date, and staff had received relevant training. Medicines were managed safely and staffing levels kept under review. People and relatives spoke highly of the caring, compassionate staff, describing the home as welcoming and homely, with good food and varied activities on offer.
