About Culrose Residential Home

Culrose Residential Home, in Norfolk, offers residential care for older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia. Details of the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

Culrose Residential Home provides residential care for older people and younger adults, many living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, having previously been rated inadequate. Inspectors found improvements in safety, staffing and person-centred care, but continued shortfalls in consent practice and governance, including incomplete mental capacity assessments and gaps in medicines record keeping.

Families spoke warmly of staff, describing them as kind, respectful and approachable, with good continuity of care and involvement in care planning. The registered manager was said to work closely with staff and the provider to drive improvement, and the service is no longer in Special Measures.
