Oak House is a residential care home providing personal care for up to six people with a learning disability and/or autism. The CQC found the service was performing well, with an established registered manager delivering high quality, person-centred care. Staff understood safeguarding processes, managed risks and medication safely, and kept the home clean and well maintained.

The rating has improved to Good overall, including in well-led.

People and relatives spoke positively about the care provided, describing staff as kind and the registered manager as approachable and responsive. Inspectors found people felt safe and confident to raise concerns, and feedback from families was welcomed and acted upon. Communication with healthcare professionals was also found to be effective.
