Woodside Grange Care Home

Woodside Grange Care Home provides accommodation, personal and nursing care for up to 121 people, including older people, those living with dementia and people with a learning disability or autism. The service currently supports 89 people. Following an assessment prompted by earlier safety and governance concerns, the CQC found significant improvements had been made and rated the home Good overall.

Inspectors found care records were detailed and person-centred, medicines management had improved, and the home was clean and safe. Staff were well trained, treated people with dignity and kindness, and worked well with the registered manager, who listened to concerns and acted on them. People and relatives spoke positively about the care, atmosphere and activities on offer.
