Wolston Grange

Wolston Grange is a residential care home providing support to older people and younger adults living with dementia, mental health conditions, physical disabilities or sight impairment. Overall, the CQC rated the service Good, finding staff kind, respectful and knowledgeable, with residents positive about their care. People had choice over meals and activities, and complaints were taken seriously.

However, inspectors found some record-keeping gaps around monitoring risks, and checks on facilities had not always identified problems found during the assessment. Staffing, training and governance arrangements were otherwise sound, leading to a Requires Improvement rating for safety, while other areas were rated Good.
