Dewar Close

Dewar Close provides personal care and accommodation for up to 43 adults living with dementia and/or physical disabilities or sensory loss, across three separate households. At the time of assessment, 39 people were living there, supported by staff who inspectors found were caring, well trained and committed to the provider's values.

The CQC found the service was performing well overall and rated it Good. Risks were identified and managed, medicines were handled safely, and people were treated with kindness and respect. Some improvements were needed to ensure monitoring records were consistently up to date, but people felt safe, well cared for and able to make their own choices.
