About Windsor House

Windsor House is a residential care home in Nottinghamshire, providing personal care for people with a learning disability. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

Windsor House is a residential care home providing personal care for up to five people with a learning disability. At the time of the CQC's assessment, it was supporting one person with their personal care needs. The service was rated Good overall.

Inspectors found the home clean, safe and well-led, with person-centred care plans, enough staff, and a positive culture where staff felt supported. However, medicines were not always managed safely and staff training was not always up to date, though the provider took action following recommendations. A relative said, "My relative is happy" and felt reassured by staff always being present.
