Wensley House Residential Home

Wensley House Residential Home provides personal care and accommodation for up to 48 people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia. At the time of the assessment, 36 people were living at the home. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall.

Inspectors found people received a good standard of care from a consistent, kind staff team who understood their needs and kept them safe. However, management systems for monitoring quality were not operating effectively, a breach of regulations. The CQC noted the management team was open and proactive about making improvements.
