Tallis House

Tallis House accommodates up to 101 older people, some living with dementia, with 68 residents at the time of inspection. The service provides nursing or personal care support.

Staff levels were insufficient to meet people's needs, despite dependency assessment tools suggesting adequate staffing. Feedback from staff, residents, and relatives contradicted this assessment. While suitable recruitment processes existed, they were not consistently applied. Medicine management was handled safely, and the service maintained good hygiene standards and infection control practices.
