Tollesby Hall Nursing Home

Tollesby Hall Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 55 people, including younger adults, people with physical disabilities or sensory impairments, and older people, some living with dementia. The CQC rated the home Good overall, an improvement on the previous requires improvement rating, after finding the earlier breach around record-keeping had been resolved.

Inspectors found medicines were managed safely, staff were kind and knowledgeable, and care plans were detailed and personalised. Some areas needed a deep clean initially, and mental capacity assessments needed further detail, but people and relatives spoke highly of the staff and management, describing the care as safe, supportive and respectful of their independence.
