Brownlee Court

Brownlee Court accommodates up to 116 young adults and older adults with physical and mental health conditions in a purpose-built three-storey residential and nursing care home. At inspection, 47 people were living there. Residents reported feeling safe, describing staff as exemplary and going the extra mile. Risks were well understood and managed, with medicines safely administered. The home maintained cleanliness throughout, though more consistent use of personal protective equipment was needed. Staffing levels were adequate, though the deployment of agency staff required review. The leadership team had recently been strengthened with quality assurance measures under review. Staff felt positive about working together and reported feeling listened to and supported by management.
