About The Porterbrook
The Porterbrook accommodates up to 44 older people, including those living with dementia, across one adapted building. At the time of inspection, 18 residents were living there. The service supports people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff employing the least restrictive practices and acting in residents' best interests. Inspectors recommended increasing care staff knowledge regarding the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Staff receive regular supervisions and annual appraisals to support them in their roles.
