Darwin House provides personal care for up to 28 older people across three floors. At the time of inspection, 19 residents were living there. The home operates as a safe environment where staff are suitably skilled and competent to meet residents' needs.

Staff demonstrate strong safeguarding awareness and have good knowledge of recognising and responding to abuse concerns. The provider has a complaint policy and procedure in place, with no open complaints at the time of the inspection. Care plans reflect individual residents' needs, and the home was implementing an electronic care planning system to enhance record-keeping and personalised support.
