Windermere House

Windermere House provides personal and nursing care, including rehabilitation support such as physiotherapy and mobility plans, for people who may need extra help regaining independence. The CQC found the home was performing well overall and rated it Good. Risks were identified and managed effectively, staff were recruited safely, and people were consistently protected from abuse.

Inspectors found a compassionate, listening culture between staff and residents, with people supported to make their own choices and treated with respect. People felt safe and had access to varied activities, including music therapy and an onsite gym. An earlier reporting issue under previous management had since been resolved, and governance was found to be effective.
