Windermere House

Windermere House provides care, accommodation, nursing and rehabilitation for people with acquired brain injury. The home is registered for up to 41 people, though five were living there at the time of inspection.

Staff deliver personalised care tailored to each person's needs and preferences. They understand the risks associated with the people they support, with risk assessments providing clear guidance on individual and environmental hazards. The home maintains adequate staffing levels to meet people's support needs. Staff know how to respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns, protecting people from harm, abuse and discrimination. People receive their medicines safely and when needed.
