Inspectors found staff understood how to respond to safeguarding concerns, and people said they felt safe and well supported. Staffing levels were sufficient, people were involved in planning their care, and residents had good opportunities for activities, visiting and independence, including an onsite shop.

Honeywood House Nursing home is a nursing home providing personal and nursing care for up to 25 people. At the time of our assessment there were 23 people using the service, this included people living with dementia and age related frailties. We carried out our on-site assessment on 8 March 2024, off site assessment activity started on 11 March 2024 and ended on 13 March 2024. We looked at 5 quality statements, Safeguarding; Involving people to manage risks; Safe and effective staffing; Independence, choice and control and Equity in experiences and outcomes.
