The Old Parsonage

The Old Parsonage provides residential care and nursing care to up to 22 people with dementia, with 19 residents at the time of inspection. Staff demonstrated a clear understanding of their safeguarding responsibilities, with incidents and accidents properly reported and reviewed. Risk assessments were in place to protect residents' safety, and care plans guided staff on how to keep people safe.

The home maintained safe recruitment practices and ensured adequate staffing levels to meet residents' needs. Medicine administration systems were secure, and staff had received training in infection prevention and control with a good understanding of how to prevent infections.
