The Wingfield

The Wingfield provides personal and nursing care to 89 people, some with nursing needs and others living with dementia, across two buildings called The Lodge and Memory Lane. At inspection, 58 people were living at the service.

While staffing levels had been reviewed and new staff employed to reduce agency use, feedback from people and relatives about staffing numbers remained variable. Recruitment checks had been completed, though discrepancies were found in some information, suggesting the recruitment process was not sufficiently robust.
