Mavern House Nursing Home

Mavern House provides nursing and personal care to up to 47 people aged 65 and over across a two-storey adapted building, with one area specialising in dementia care. At inspection, 44 people were living at the service. The home proactively supports residents to maintain contact with friends and family through visits, telephone and video calls, and social media. Staff wear badges to reassure residents of their care despite wearing masks. The service has promoted the essential care giver role and provides staff with wellbeing support. Visitors are screened for infection and provided with personal protective equipment, while staff receive training on infection prevention and control measures.
