The Oaks Care Home

Recent improvements have strengthened the safety of care provided. Residents and relatives reported feeling safe and happy, praising staff for being kind and caring. Inspectors observed positive interactions between staff and people throughout the home.

Care plans and risk assessments contain detailed, consistent information about individual needs and their management. Health needs and wellbeing are monitored in line with these plans, with appropriate safeguards against avoidable harm. Environmental and infection control risks are managed appropriately. Prescribed medicines are administered as required, with safe arrangements for obtaining, storing, and disposal. Recruitment practices are effective, and residents and relatives confirmed there are sufficient staff to meet people's needs.
