Ferndale Residential Care Home

The home provides personal care for 16 residents, with capacity for up to 17, and specialises in dementia care. Located near local shops, the railway station and a church, the detached property features a communal lounge, conservatory, garden and a passenger lift providing access to the first floor.

People appeared happy and at ease in the company of staff. Strong relationships were evident between residents and staff, supported by continuity of staffing and the caring approach of team members. Staff treated people with dignity and respect, encouraging independence and participation in the life of the home.
