White Lodge Care Home

White Lodge Care Home provides personal care and accommodation for up to 25 people, including those living with dementia. The home is arranged over two floors with single bedrooms, two communal lounges, a dining room, and access to outdoor garden and patio areas.

However, inspectors identified significant concerns about safety and staffing. Risk assessments were not consistently completed, and mitigation plans were often missing, leaving people vulnerable to unsafe care. Staff lacked adequate guidance on managing certain risks. Staffing levels were questioned, with no robust system in place to determine adequate numbers for people's needs. The home did not always have appropriately trained staff available to administer medication, and some medicines were not given as prescribed. Additionally, not all required employment checks had been completed to protect people from unsuitable staff.
