The Bungalow

The Bungalow is a purpose-built care home providing accommodation for three people living with autism, physical or learning disability who require nursing or personal care. The single-floor accommodation is accessed via a central corridor. Staff ensure people feel safe with appropriate risk management in place, and sufficient staffing levels support people's needs.

The service maintains a clean environment through dedicated cleaning staff and has systems to protect residents from infection. Medicine management is handled safely with staff receiving relevant training and support.

Positive and caring relationships exist between residents and staff members. People are supported to eat and drink well and maintain their health. Staff take steps to ensure consent to care, with appropriate measures in place for those who lack capacity to make decisions.
