About Tenby House

Tenby House is a nursing home in West Sussex. Details of its most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

Tenby House provides residential care for up to 29 people, with 28 residents at the time of inspection. The majority of residents were living with dementia. The home is arranged over two floors with communal areas including two sitting rooms and a dining room.

Staff supported residents well in maintaining contact with family and loved ones, facilitating video calls when in-person visits were not possible. The service had a dedicated visiting room with screening and required relatives to undertake COVID-19 tests before visits. Social distancing guidelines were implemented throughout the home, and staff used PPE appropriately during personal care.

Management used communal spaces creatively to enable residents to relax and dine together safely while minimising infection risk.
