Sydenham House

Sydenham House is a care home providing personal care for up to 49 older people, including those living with dementia, across two units. Following a previous rating of requires improvement, the CQC found the home had made the necessary changes and it is now rated good overall.

Inspectors found a positive culture, with people speaking warmly of staff and feeling well cared for and safe. Staffing levels were sufficient, the environment clean and well maintained, and management were visible and supportive. Some care plans needed more detail, which the registered manager was already addressing.
