Rosewood Lodge & Brook House

Rosewood Lodge & Brook House provides care and accommodation for up to 20 people with mental health needs, with 19 people living there at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding a positive culture where people felt safe, well cared for and confident in staff and leadership. Residents spoke warmly of staff support and felt able to give feedback that was acted upon.

Inspectors did identify some shortfalls, including fire safety concerns, gaps in recruitment records and medicines management issues, all addressed during the assessment. Quality checks had not always ensured timely action on identified problems, though a refurbishment plan was underway and staff worked well with outside professionals to support good outcomes.
