Rosewood Lodge & Brook House

Rosewood Lodge and Brook House accommodates 20 people with mental health needs across two residential properties adapted into one home spread over four floors. During inspection, significant concerns were identified regarding infection control and cleanliness. The home was not clean or well maintained, and while staffing levels were adequate to meet residents' needs, there were no dedicated cleaning staff or systems to monitor cleaning effectiveness. Additionally, shortfalls were found in staff recruitment files and some risks were not properly assessed or managed.

Medicines were managed safely and staff demonstrated knowledge of recognising and reporting abuse.
