Dimensions Somerset Northmead House

Northmead House provides respite accommodation and personal care for up to 10 people with learning disabilities. At the time of inspection, all 10 places were occupied, with three residents staying for an extended period during a transition to more appropriate longer-term services. The service is part of Dimensions, a national not-for-profit organisation supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

The people accommodated at the home have complex physical and learning disabilities requiring dedicated support. Staff demonstrated commitment to understanding each person's individual needs and providing personalised care that enables residents to maintain connections with their families and communities.
