Sutton Lodge is a care home providing personal care to older people and those living with dementia, supporting 27 people at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, finding breaches relating to safe care and treatment and to governance. Staffing levels were not always sufficient, risks such as falls, repositioning and fluid intake were not consistently managed, medicines were not handled safely, and safeguarding incidents were not always reported.

Inspectors found the building was safe and clean, and people could access GP and health appointments. Relatives described staff as kind and caring, though many felt staffing was stretched and were unclear who the manager was.
