About Sunbury Nursing Homes

Sunbury Nursing Homes is a nursing home in Surrey providing care for older people, including those living with dementia. Further details on the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

This care home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 54 older people, some of whom are living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 48 people were resident at the service. The home maintains robust infection control policies and systems, with visitors informed of procedures in advance of their visits.

When residents tested positive for COVID-19, they spent their isolation period in their rooms and were cared for by a dedicated cohort of staff using appropriate personal protective equipment. Staff demonstrated correct PPE removal procedures during the inspection and the service appeared clean and hygienic throughout. Uniforms are laundered in-house, with staff arriving in their own clothes and changing on site.
