Adelaide House Care Home

Adelaide House provides accommodation and care for up to 30 people, including those with nursing and physical needs and people living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 25 residents were living at the service.

While staffing levels were sufficient to support people safely, staff reported limited time to spend with residents. The registered manager confirmed that staff numbers have since increased. Staff demonstrated awareness of risks associated with residents' care and provided appropriate support. Residents received medicines as needed and were supported to make choices about their lives, with staff using the least restrictive approaches possible.
