The Summers

The Summers provides care for up to 35 older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, all 35 available places were occupied by people aged 65 and over.

People experience safe and friendly care at the home. The reception area serves as a vibrant social hub where residents and staff gather to socialise and enjoy natural light. Staff actively engage with residents throughout the day, dancing, playing games and chatting with them. Relatives praised the staff's dedication, with one saying "The staff go above and beyond for the residents" and another noting "They are so kind here it's incredible."
