Stafford Hall

Stafford Hall provides personal care and support for up to 40 older people, some living with dementia, across two floors of an adapted building. At inspection, 26 people were using the service. Staffing levels were not always sufficient to meet people's needs, and contingency plans for covering staff absences during training were lacking. People did not consistently receive personalised care or access to meaningful activities of their choice, and mealtime experiences needed improvement.

The provider had strengthened quality and safety monitoring processes since the previous inspection, though systems remained insufficient to address staffing gaps. Safeguarding protections were in place to keep people safe. Medicines were managed competently and administered correctly at the right times. Infection prevention and control measures were implemented to prevent the spread of infection.
