Eco Nights

Eco Nights is a respite service offering accommodation and personal care for up to six younger people with a learning disability and/or autism. The CQC found staff remained caring and attentive, with people and relatives happy with support and confident that there was enough staff to meet needs. Relatives said they were involved in decisions and that their family members were happy using the service.

However, inspectors found the premises were not being kept clean and well-maintained, and identified shortfalls in medicines management and oversight. This led to two breaches of regulation, covering safe care and treatment and governance, although an earlier safeguarding breach had since been resolved. The home's rating has moved from outstanding for caring at the previous inspection to requiring improvement overall.
