Eco Nights

Eco Nights is a respite service providing accommodation and personal care for up to six younger people with a learning disability and/or autism. The service operates as a large bungalow situated within the local community, creating a welcoming environment that does not feel institutional. People can access communal areas freely and have privacy in their own themed bedrooms, which they have been involved in choosing. The premises enables residents to access the community easily.

The service records instances of restraint, though inspectors identified that improvements are needed in documenting staff interventions used before restraint and the lessons learned from such incidents to help prevent and reduce their occurrence in future.
