The home had implemented safety measures for visitors, including temperature checks, PPE provision, and a designated pod for visits. Residents were supported to maintain contact with family and friends through telephone calls and window visits.

The service followed proper admissions procedures aligned with government guidance. Staff had received training in correct PPE use and infection control measures. The registered manager implemented whole home testing protocols for residents and staff. The premises were visibly clean with documented cleaning schedules that included regular deep cleaning.
