Oakdale

Oakdale provides accommodation and personal care for up to 27 people, including those with dementia. During the inspection, 25 residents were living at the service. Staff demonstrated caring attitudes, providing support and reassurance to residents.

The home had implemented safety measures for visitors, including temperature checks, PPE provision, and a designated pod for visits. Residents were supported to maintain contact with family and friends through telephone calls and window visits.

The service followed proper admissions procedures aligned with government guidance. Staff had received training in correct PPE use and infection control measures. The registered manager implemented whole home testing protocols for residents and staff.

The premises were visibly clean with documented cleaning schedules that included regular deep cleaning.
