St Lawrences Lodge

St Lawrences Lodge provides personal care to 14 people aged 65 and over in one adapted building registered for up to 20 residents. Staff recruitment follows safe systems with sufficient staffing to meet people's needs. The home has been recently refurbished with redecoration and new furnishings, and premises and equipment are well maintained. Medicines are managed and administered safely, with risks to individuals and staff identified and well managed.

People feel safe at the home and are treated with respect. One resident said, "I feel safe here because they really look after everybody. They treat me well and are very helpful." Staff support people to have maximum choice and control of their lives in the least restrictive way possible. The home welcomes visitors warmly, with many visitors observed throughout the inspection.
