Charnley House is a residential care home in Hyde, Tameside, providing personal care and accommodation for up to 40 people, including older adults with a range of care needs. At the time of the assessment, 36 people were living there.

The CQC rated the home Good overall. Inspectors found that people and relatives spoke positively about the caring staff, felt safe, and enjoyed the meals provided. However, record keeping was inconsistent in places, some risks such as unsafe storage of substances and lack of pressure relieving equipment were not fully managed, and some staff interactions did not always preserve people's dignity.
