Cawood House provides personal care to up to 42 people across two floors of an adapted building. At inspection, 26 people were living there. Staff had received training in safely using and disposing of personal protective equipment, with the registered manager conducting regular audits of handwashing and PPE use to ensure guidance compliance. The home maintained high standards of cleanliness, with additional cleaning of high-touch areas completed throughout the day. The provider had invested in various hygiene products designed to minimise infection risks.
