Red Brick House

Red Brick House provides accommodation, personal and nursing care for up to 50 older people, including those living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Good overall. Inspectors found care records were detailed and person-centred, staffing levels were sufficient, and people received safe, timely support.

Some staff interactions needed improvement, and parts of the building showed wear and tear.

People and relatives described staff as kind, organised and attentive, and felt safe and well cared for. Governance was mostly effective, though the CQC recommended more frequent audits and checks on the environment and dining experience. Overall, the culture was open, with people's and staff's feedback valued and used to improve care.
