Briarwood

Briarwood accommodates up to 24 people with dementia or mental health conditions, with 16 residents at the time of inspection. Residents felt very safe and spoke highly of staff, describing them as "lovely" and "friendly." They were happy and comfortable in the home. Infection control processes were well embedded, with staff following government guidance and wearing appropriate PPE. Temperature checks and risk assessments were completed for staff and visitors. The home had sufficient staffing levels and followed safe recruitment practices.

The service was well managed, with residents and staff finding the manager approachable and open. An effective quality assurance process was in place to maintain standards.
