Addison Court is a residential home providing care for older people living with dementia, nursing needs, mental health conditions and physical disabilities. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that medicines and risks were managed safely, staffing levels were monitored, and people were protected from abuse. Care was based on good practice, and staff supported people to make informed decisions about their treatment.

Inspectors found people were treated with kindness, dignity and respect, and staff responded to needs promptly. People felt confident raising concerns and saw action taken as a result. The home had previously breached several regulations, including safeguarding and governance, but improvements meant it was no longer in breach and had exited special measures.
