Portcullis House

Portcullis House accommodates up to 44 older adults in a purpose-built, single-storey building with two wings, one specializing in dementia care. At the time of inspection, 33 residents lived at the home, situated in a residential area in Langport, Somerset. The facility has implemented thoughtful visiting arrangements, with a specially designed conservatory featuring a clear divided wall that allows relatives and friends to visit safely while maintaining separation. Visitors can enter directly from the carpark, avoiding passage through the main building.
